Project Overview

Lamont Law firm in Hamilton, ON wanted a new online advertising campaign to better reflect their areas of legal expertise and approach to customer service.  Working with local film company Media That Matters, we crafted ten scripts for use in their film shoots.

Challenge

Personal injury law is a difficult market to stand out in. And communicating the value that lawyers who work in this type of law bring is complicated because legal processes, terms, and outcomes are difficult to communicate without oversimplifying or overpromising.

Lamont Law approached us and a partner production company, Media That Matters, to create a series of video content for their website that would explain the value to potential clients in clear terms, without compromising integrity.

Solution

Though we were brought in late into the preproduction process, we quickly gathering insights on a fact-finding call and performed our own research. In a very compressed timeframe we were able to provide the client with 10, 1-minute scripts.

These scripts then went through 2 short rounds of revisions with minimal changes and completed with enough time remaining for the legal team to familiarize themselves with the content so they could be comfortable speaking it to camera.

Results

The client was very impressed with the speed of our turnaround, allowing them to fit a very tight production schedule, but also with the quality of the writing. They were pleased we were able to demonstrate a clear understanding of each complex area of law but still communicate each measure of value in clear, compelling language.

Currently the videos are still in post-production and will be added to the website this quarter.
